Everyone on the CCSL team takes social responsibility very seriously. We work hard to be a positive and proactive member of the communities in which we live and work, through a range of unique innovations and initiatives developed and customised to suit each and every location.
Coffee. It’s the drink we reach for when we need to wake up on Monday mornings or to help us through that Wednesday afternoon slump. With 7 out of 10 adults drinking at least one cup per day it is no surprise how much our coffee knowledge in Ireland has developed over recent years.
As a business we want to operate efficiently and effectively so that our clients are always happy with our work. But we do this ethically and always make sure we do the right thing.

We make absolutely certain that we know where all of our food and ingredients come from. Traceability is one of the core values CCSL was founded upon and it has always allowed us to monitor the quality of ingredients so that the quality of our dishes remains at its highest.

Food provenance is critical to our business and we only deal with reputable local suppliers who can provide the flexible, frequent service we require and our customers demand. Confidence in quality is paramount for our clients and we can assure them with confidence that the food we serve is not only good for them but has minimal impact on our environment.

REDUCING PLASTIC
Small steps add up to making a big difference and we are determined to be a part of the drive to make our planet a better place for the generations to come. We have eliminated plastic straws from our supply chain and are looking at every aspect of the business to ultimately completely eradicate single-use plastics.

REDUCING FOOD WASTE
We recycle by composting leftover food, reclaiming the energy and nutrients as plant food. While many sites do not have room for an outdoor composting system, we encourage our clients to use countertop composting systems that make composting easy and accessible for everyone.

Working closely with our on-site teams and suppliers, we’re sourcing locally, streamlining product ranges, finding solutions to storage challenges and changing habits and behaviours to reduce deliveries and minimise food miles.

Being mindful of water use throughout our business we make sure we keep water wastage to an absolute minimum. One way we do this is by keeping our catering equipment up-to-date and in good working order so that it all operates efficiently and in harmony with our sustainability policies.

Setting Standards
CCSL has a number of quality assurance accreditations but they do not set our benchmarks. Our quality standards are far higher and we surpass industry best practice and best-in-class measures. In fact, best practices are where we start and we move upwards from there.
We undertake on-going quality control and evaluation of all of our operations to make certain that we meet and exceed the expectations of our clients.
